This pretty resort is situationed on a stretch of beach fronting the clear aqua sea, next to a national park. The Be Live Canoa exudes a warmth with earthy tones and adobe colors in the lobby and the blocks of rooms, which are surrounded by impeccably manicured gardens and ponds. Yet within, are four individual villas which take their own place like small Dominican houses fronting a lagoon. The restaurants are also created in the same theme, like strolling through a Dominican Village. The effect is very cheerful and charming. 'La Piragua Buffet Restaurant'; and a la carte restaurants, "El Charro" and "El Rigoletto" are offered in the all inclusive plan. The large pool is in an oasis of lush tropical foliage and by the edge of the beach. The hotel also caters to divers who seek the exploration of underwater caves and expeditions may be organized through the Scuba Center. A great location only half an hour from Altos de Chavon and the Casa de Campo golf courses.
