Please note taxi fares to and from the Registrar Office must be paid for locally. Wedding packages start from US$595 and guests can even get married for FREE if their party consists of at least ten adults and they stay a certain length of time. Call the US or UK Reservation Offices for further information.

Waiting Time and Legal Proceedings

A period of 3 business days is required before couples can commence legal formalities. Couples must then attend the Register Office in Basseterre to complete and sign a declaration stating that the information they are giving is correct. The ministries are not open on weekends or public holidays.

Documentation Required

Valid passports, original birth certificates (with raised notary seal), immigration card stamped locally at airport, affidavit of marital status, if divorced, original proof of Decree Absolute, if widowed, original marriage and death certificate, original proof, if name changed by Deed Poll, if under 18 years, evidence of consent of parents is required in the form of an Affidavit by a Notary Public. Adoption papers, if relevant.

Date and Time Wedding

Whilst specific requests can be made through the overseas reservation offices, Sugar Bay Club cannot guarantee a specific time or date for weddings prior to guests arrival. Ceremonies are generally performed between 10:00am and 4:00pm with certain restrictions on weekends and on public holidays. To facilitate all arrangements, guests should complete a wedding booking form and fax it to either US or UK Reservations Office one month before traveling.

Optional Extras

The appropriate costs for optional extras are: Photography from US$450.00, Video from US$600.00, Steel Band from US$300.00, Extra flowers from US$50.00 upwards. Prices subject to change and credit cards are not accepted.
