The stark, neo-fascist marble facade belies the soft, velvet furnishings and wood detail inside the lobby and lounge. The rooms feature period-style decor and fabrics in retro greens, reds, and blues, high ceilings, tall windows and either high-gloss parquet floors with Oriental rugs or wall-to-wall carpeting in period-inspired patterns.
